Mohamad FAHAD SHALALDAH

Minister of Justice of Palestine*

Dr. Mohammad Fahhad Ash-Shalaldah, is the Minister of Justice at the State of Palestine* since April 2019 to present. He holds Master’s degree and PhD in International Law in the field of the Diplomatic Law from Azerbaijan University.

He lives in Ramallah. He is interested in the international law and human rights. He works on enhancing accountability, integrity, transparency, and respecting citizens’ civil and legal rights. He worked as a legal advocate for 40 years. In addition, he has an academic career where he occupies many academic positions as a professor or dean and manager of lots of legal colleges and centres in Palestinian universities.

Dr. Ash-Shalaldah has more than fifteen peer reviewed researches and two books in the fields of law and international law. He also participated in many local, regional, and international conferences. Dr. Ash-Shalaldah is interested in learning languages as he speaks Arabic, English and Russian languages.
