Career

He started his career at the Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan, where he worked as a senior specialist, chief specialist of Law Department (2000-2002). He held different leading positions as deputy head, head of the unit of law department of the Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan (2002-2003). The Chief inspector of Almaty city’s Akim (2005-2006). The Chief Manager of Law Department of the Sustainable Development Fund “Kazyna” (2006-2007). The legal advisor, senior specialist, assistant of the Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan (2007-2008). The head of department of analytics and strategic planning of the Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan (2008-2009). The head of law department of the Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan (2009-2012). The Head of Organizational and Control Department – Inspection of Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Economic and Corruption Crime (2012-2014). The deputy head, head of the Legal Department of the Office of the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2014-2023). Appointed to the post of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan (from 04.01.2023).
