Valletta, Malta - Representatives of the State Registration Service (SRS), State Security Council as well as of the civil society of the Kyrgyz Republic participated in a study visit organised in Malta by the Venice Commission and the Maltese authorities.
The participants of the study visit got an insight into the Maltese experience in developing the data protection system; they visited the Electoral office of Malta. They were also informed about the setting up and functioning of the Digital Malta Strategy. They also had an opportunity to visit the Data Centre and to receive detailed explanations on how it works.
The project “Support to Strengthening Democracy through Electoral Reform in the Kyrgyz Republic” is implemented by the Venice Commission and co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe.
