London - on the side-lines of the Global forum for media freedom, the Commission’s 1st Vice president Ms Herdis Kjerulf Thorgeirsdottir met the Special Envoy of the Council of Europe on death penalty Ms Bianca Jagger. They discussed the urgent need to better protect journalists and other relevant issues raised by the Forum.
