Panama City – The Venice Commission was invited to participate in the XIVth Inter-American Meeting of Electoral Management Bodies. The event is co-organised by the Electoral Tribunal of Panama and the Organisation of American States. A representative of the Venice Commission intervened on good practices in electoral reform processes.
The participation of the Venice Commission was funded through the joint EU-Council of Europe project “Support to reforms of electoral legislation and practice and regional Human Rights instruments and mechanisms in countries of Latin America, Central Asia and Mongolia”, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Venice Commission.
