On 14 October 2024 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of San Marino and the Venice Commission organise in San Marino a conference titled “Aspects of Constitutionalism in European small-sized States”, under the auspices of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset. The conference brings together international and constitutional law experts and representatives of Council of Europe monitoring and expert bodies. The conference is composed of three sessions focusing on: Constitutional aspects of European small-sized States; The interaction between European small-sized States and the Council of Europe Monitoring and Expert Bodies; and the implementation of the Council of Europe standards of judicial independence by European small-sized States.
