The Venice Commission was invited to participate in the Cyprus Forum 2024 in Nicosia, Cyprus, on 3 October 2024. Ms Hanna Suchocka, Honorary President of the Venice Commission, represented the Commission and participated in the panel on “Attorney General Powers”. The Cyprus Forum is the largest policy-making conference in Cyprus, co-organized by the NGO Oxygen for Democracy and the University of Cyprus, in collaboration with the Delphi Economic Forum in Greece. The forum brings together key figures from the public and private sectors, initiating dialogue on key areas of public policy.
